Paperback. Adam Barclay, a scientist and veterinarian, is sure that he has found a way to make mankind and animals 15 times stronger and more intelligent. His dream to unite mankind and animals to live in harmony looks like it may come true because he's a candidate for the job of Director at the San Francisco Zoo. It's the perfect place for his experiments, but the greed of politicians and some zoo board members thwarted the opportunity. Ten years in the lesser position of nutritionist gave him greater access to the animals to perfect his experiments and plot revenge on those who had wronged him. As happens with most plans, things did not go the way he expected. The animals become stronger and more intelligent than he imagined then unite to protect each other. How can a confrontation on the Golden Gate Bridge transform the coastline of California forever?
