Who knew refusing absolute cosmic divinity would be so much exhausting paperwork?
Meet a magnificent, gold-scaled dragon who has absolute zero interest in sitting on a cloudy throne, fielding endless prayers, or wearing a halo. He would much rather take a nap on a pile of ancient ruins, enjoy a snack, and let the universe figure out its own existential crises.
Unfortunately, the cosmos didn't check his schedule.
When a fiercely logical mortal scholar accidentally stumbles into his territory with a leather-bound book and a penchant for arguing semantics, the last thing the dragon expects is to be... bothered. But when an aggressively upbeat celestial bureaucracy and a void full of chaotic nonsense threaten to derail their quiet afternoon, this reluctant mythical beast has to choose between a peaceful retirement and saving reality from itself.
The Dragon Who Refused to Be a God is a laugh-out-loud, high-concept cosmic romance filled with witty banter, celestial sparks, towering stone pillars, and a dragon who just wants everyone to get off his lawn.
Grab your copy today and dive into the funniest celestial adventure in the universe!

About the Author
Lyra Hartwell writes stories where cosmic grandeur collides with the cozy, chaotic reality of paying rent on time. A self-proclaimed enthusiast of charming disasters, she specializes in cross-genre fiction that blends laugh-out-loud rom-com energy with whimsical fantasy and sci-fi elements. Whether she is tangling star-crossed lovers in dimensional anomalies or forcing celestial beings to navigate the existential dread of making toast, Lyra is dedicated to one mission: proving that the best love stories are often born from the most absurd circumstances. She is the author of My Guardian Angel Is an Absolute Menace, and when she isn't writing, she's likely trying (and failing) to organize her own bookshelf.
