Paperback. "Kangjoun Mangjul- Crown Prince of the Middle Kingdom- finds himself facing difficult times as hardship strikes the royal family. He must face the most difficult decision of his life; any choice will cost him greatly," Elder Lyong Ryou tells his friends and family at a gathering in Ciciana. The tale of a forgotten link between two family lines is told by the elder in The Dragon Guard's third installment: Fire and Shadow. The elder tells of the royal family's history, and the continued struggles of the royal family. He tells the story of a lost prince, rare large breed dragons, strange attacks on small clans in the southern parts of the nation, and the desperate circumstances the prince finds himself in. Will the prince find a way to aid his family, his nation? Will his choices lead to war? With the help of new friends, Kangjoun takes on a task no one else believes exists, and risks it all to save the ones closest to him. This new adventure was also inspired by the local mountain ranges of northern Wyoming. Sarah Hite takes readers into the past. Fire and Shadow may be the third book in the Dragon Guard series, but it is also the first of three historical novels depicting dragons of the past, whose lives helped shaped the dragon nations surrounding the small human nation of Altera. She brings together new and old characters, forms new alliances, and shows how greed, manipulation, and fear, can damage families, friendships, and destroy nations. Taking age old battles to new locations, she reveals never ending disputes the world still fights today. This item is printed on demand.
