Paperback. By many scouting reports, the ever-smiling Max Redding is expected to be a first-rounder in the 2010 Major League Baseball Amateur Draft. His mother, Tamara, is planning the celebration dinner, while Max and his high school teammates are deciding how to spend his pending signing bonus. Calls from Max's agent, high school coach, and girlfriend almost cause a heart attack every time the phone rings. To remain calm while waiting for "The Call," Max types baseball stories and memories into his laptop computer. Max plays the two most important Whiffle Ball games of his life, and he learns that it only takes one day full of surprises to sum up his past, clarify the present, and change his future. When David Mullany, President of WIFFLE BALL, Inc., read an advanced copy of the book, he raved: "Draft Choice is a good story, with great lessons for kids. Stohlgren hits all the bases! Sportsmanship, manners, tolerance, perseverance, loyalty. just to name a few." This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
