nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - This book is intendedto interest children and young adults. I hope it can serve as a tool forolder folks to impart the lessons to young people that many of uslearned growing up, without even realizing how they were shaping ourlives. This isn't only a book of adages and heartwarming stories, butalso a bit of insight into how life was when I was growing up DOWNHOME.The stories in this book emphasize issues that are not onlyimportant for children but also for adults: honesty, friendship, overcoming adversity, and believing in oneself, to name a few. Theyalso highlight the need to believe in others at any age and therebyencourage them to always put forth their best effort, regardless of whatthey're doing. The stories illustrate that despite our mistakes orshortcomings, we can rise above circumstances and achieve success.Success isn't defined by wealth or prestige but by the qualities thatmake us who we are.

This book is written for families and people of all ages. The intent
is to share timeless wisdom and Scripture that many of us older folks
grew up with. These principles were not only taught but also modeled
in the lives of the adults around us. Back in my day, down home, it
was up to us as children, teenagers, and young adults to build character
by living out these wise words. Many of them were just old sayings to
us until we got older and realized we were now those older people who
tried to drive home these morals through sometimes thick skulls
