Paperback. One promise to come home. One secret that shattered everything. One bakery that might stitch a heart back together.Ava Carson never planned on returning to Maple Ridge-or to the broken pieces of the grandmother who raised her. But when she inherits The Buttered Biscuit Bakery, she's pulled back into the warm lights, familiar sidewalks, and unfinished wounds of the town she fled years ago.Inside the crumbling bakery, Ava finds more than peeling paint and forgotten recipes. She finds Declan Hayes-the quiet, steady contractor who once knew her better than she knew herself. The man she walked away from without explanation. The man holding secrets of his own.As they work side by side to rebuild the bakery, sparks ignite where resentment once lived. But when Ava discovers torn pages in her grandmother's journal-pages about Declan-she realizes the past she thought she understood is full of truths she never saw coming. Now Ava must decide whether to trust the man who could break her heart again. or the warnings left behind by the woman she loved most.A story of second chances, hidden truths, and the kind of love that feels like coming home, The Door Back to You will sweep you into a small town full of hope, healing, and the sweetness of starting over. A slow-burn, second-chance romance set in a small town bakery, where grief, secrets, and unfinished love collide.
