Text is John Ozell's revision of the translation from the Spanish by Peter Motteux. With an introduction by Herschel Brickell. --- In Toledano spine G4 / charcoal cloth / gilt titling on red spine blocks / gilt-stamped ML torchbearer on front cover & spine / red topstain / blank GA style endpapers / Volume lacks the dust jacket. Likely published c.1938-1944 (though 1930 date appears in volume). ML #G15.1. --- With conspicuous dulling to spine gilding, binder's glue bleed-through at endpapers, some tanning to endpapers, discreet bookseller rubberstamping to rear endpaper and prior owner's bookplate affixed to front free endpaper, else a tightly-bound, sound copy.
