Print on Demand. This book is a second series of domestic architecture designs for cottages, lodges, villas, and other residences in the Grecian, Italian, and Old English architectural styles. Most designs are suitable for residences of the landed gentry or comparable wealth, but there are also several suitable for more modest means. The author focuses on domestic architecture rather than grand civic structures, for the former has a wider audience, and the designs have been created with an understanding of what makes a house a home. The author also considers the relationship between a house and its environment, understanding that a building designed in one style may not be suitable for all sites. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
