two volumes, sold as one. A wealth of data! bound in red cloth, red free end papers an red and black jackets. Light wear to edges,Top edge of volume 2 is dulled from sunning. No interior marks. Both volumes have been barely opened. No names or marks found. From the rear panel of jacket:" The Domesday Survey was arranged by counties or shires, and so is the present edition. These are ancient counties that survived with little change until 1974. A prospectus leaflet will be supplied on request, giving details of the entire series and current" prices. ".
