Title on t.p.: "Service Man's Guide to San Francisco;" presumed first ed.--there is no date within but in the "Facts About San Francisco" section, the tax rate given is for 1942-43; unpaginated but there are 28 p., clean and unmarked anywhere--even in blank "Memo" section--with many ill. and period photos; binding firm. The pictorial wrapper is clean but sunned and scuffed, with some edge wear. Back panel, which shows an ad for Acme Beer with girl in bathing suit lifting a glass of beer with caption "Here's Lookin' At You" photo, is quite creased at corners. In fact the pages within are so dog-eared they yip when you turn them, but none are torn or stained. 18mo.
