Item description from seller

In some cases the book has original Latin text side-by-side with English, and in one case German is included side-by-side with English. Ex-library features include: spine label (blacked out); stamps (library name and "DISCARD") on title page and upper book block; call number (pencil) on back of title page; damage from pocket/magnet/sticker removal on inside back cover. Paperback in fair condition, binding tight but cover has significant creasing, dog-earing, especially at spine. Pages themselves are very clean without notes or highlighting. We are a Benedictine Abbey and Seminary library in Oregon. We appreciate your support.

Store description

Mount Angel Abbey Library is housed in a world-renowned building designed by Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto. The architecture of the Abbey Library reflects and shapes its spirit and purpose. The building's natural light illumines the multi-color bindings, offered on open stacks against a disciplined black and white background, softened by undulating curves and light colored wood. The structure, including three stories and a mezzanine, was completed in 1970. The library is a part of Mount Angel Abbey a community of Benedictine Monks.
