Print on Demand. This book addresses the fundamental issue of human depravity, the natural state of man in every age and under all circumstances, revealing the essential properties and extent of our sinful nature. The author contends that depravity consists in inordinate self-love, or selfishness, which results in a myriad of moral failings and vices. Despite popular belief, the author argues that human nature is not inherently neutral but possesses a predisposition towards evil. The author concludes that the doctrine of human depravity is essential for understanding our need for salvation and the significance of Christ's atoning sacrifice. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
