Dr Doctor Who And The Zarbi Paperback Book Novelization by Bill Strutton. Released by Target books paperbacks in 1979, this is the 1984 reprint, that is based on the television serial Doctor Who And The Web Planet starring William Hartnell as Dr Who. The Dr lands the Tardis on the cold, craggy planet of Vortis. The Dr and his companions, Ian and Vicki, are soon captured by the Zarbi, hugh ant-like creatures with metallic bodies and pincer claws; meanwhile Barbara falls into the hands of the friendly Menoptera who have come to rid Vortis of the malevolent power of the Zarbi.
