Print on Demand. This book, a collection of Chinese inscriptions, offers a unique glimpse into the history and culture of Central Asia. The author has gathered a wealth of inscriptions, ranging from those of the early Han dynasty to the Tang dynasty, which provide a rich source of information about the interactions between Chinese and non-Chinese peoples in this region. The inscriptions not only shed light on political and military events but also on the social, economic, and religious life of Central Asia. For example, they reveal the important role played by Buddhism in the region, and they provide evidence for the existence of a thriving trade network that connected Central Asia with China and other parts of the world. Through these inscriptions, the author offers a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the complex history of Central Asia, making this book an invaluable resource for scholars and anyone interested in the history and culture of this fascinating region. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
