Divorce hurts! You or someone you know is living the pain. Where to go for help? Is the only option to suffer through changes alone? Bill Koontz, Paulette Liburd, and Dan Cox, authors of Divorce and Beyond: Finding hope, healing, and growth, share with you how to deal with the many emotions and decisions involved in divorce and gain a long-lasting, positive effect. "We are three diverse people who, out of the extended pain of our own divorces, experienced a faith-based healing that has transformed our lives from winters of despair into spring times of hope. In this book, we offer that same hope to you." You will learn:
- Why divorce is so hard.
- Practical steps to navigate the path of recovery.
- Facing the unique challenges of loneliness, forgiveness, and rebuilding.
- A Biblical overview based on the character of God.
Endorsement:
Divorce and Beyond shares a wealth of insight and knowledge on the devastation of divorce, and provides an understanding of the depth of grief and crisis, creating an introspective look into your former marriage, divorce recovery and reconstruction. Concrete steps and reflection are given to recover and rebuild, while interweaving faith through the teachings of the Bible. For those who are spiritually driven, this book will aid you in healing from your divorce and beyond.
-Carrie Conlon, BSW, MEd, LPCC, Divorce & Beyond participant and leader
