Print on Demand. This book examines the historical context and language used in the New Testament, focusing on the question of the divinity of Jesus Christ. The author argues that the original texts, when examined without preconceptions, show that the early disciples believed Jesus was divine, and that this belief is reflected in the language they used to describe him. The book challenges modern interpretations of the New Testament that deny the divinity of Christ, and provides a fresh perspective on the historical evidence. It draws from a multitude of scriptural references, analyzing their linguistic and historical meaning, and explores the implications of the author's interpretation for Christian belief and practice. Ultimately, the book seeks to shed light on the nature of Jesus Christ and his relationship with God, offering a compelling argument for the divinity of Christ based on a close reading of the New Testament. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. …

The faith of Christians need not be disturbed by the waning influence of Christianity in the world, which was indeed foretold by Christ as signalling the approach of His Second Coming. In the late world-war some persons imagined a revival of religious devotion, but it was a mistake; what revealed itself was rather utter most ignorance of the Gospel among men and officers alike. The erosion of evangelical doctrine does fresh damage year by year. The creed that belongs to Scripture and Tradition, that was taught by the Apostles of Christ and preserved Inviolate in the Christian Church, is more com pletely discarded with each new generation. The Second Coming is not far away.
