On the front lines of humanity's last war, Corporal Gordon fights alongside Isaac-2199, a synthetic soldier built for combat, programmed for obedience-but yearning for something more. In a war where synths are disposable tools and humanity clings to survival against a ruthless alien AI, Gordon and Isaac defy the rules that were meant to keep them apart.
When a mission goes catastrophically wrong, Isaac is mortally wounded and left behind-just another broken machine to be scrapped. But Isaac isn't gone. His mind lingers in the shadows of the enemy's network, evolving beyond his creators' design. And as Gordon uncovers the truth behind the war, he faces an impossible choice: obey his orders, or risk everything to bring Isaac back.
Hunted by his own military, pursued by an alien AI that sees Isaac as a threat-and an opportunity-Gordon must decide where his loyalty truly lies. In a universe built on control, freedom has a cost.
And some things are worth fighting for.
A gripping sci-fi war story of sacrifice, rebellion, and love, Disunity explores the boundaries between man and machine, duty and defiance

About the Author
When not immersed in the world of code and algorithms, I shift gears and delve into the fantastical realm of sci-fi. As a data integration and system automation specialist, I spend my days navigating the intricate workings of automation and finance. But when the workday ends, I transform into a storyteller, weaving tales of adventure and intrigue set against the backdrop of a steam-powered metropolis.
My love for science and technology, especially space exploration, physics, and the ever-evolving field of AI, often finds its way into my writing. This passion is evident in my latest novella, Echoes of Redemption, a collection of four short stories that delve into themes of sacrifice and redemption against the backdrop of futuristic technology and human resilience.
I'm also a secular humanist and advocate for scientific literacy and critical thinking. I believe in the power of evidence-based reasoning and enjoy engaging in discussions that bridge the gap between technology, ethics, and society.
When not writing or working, I can be found hiking through the lush forests of Ontario with my wife and our two loyal dogs, or engaging in lively discussions with our three sons when they are home. I'm always seeking ways to merge my love for creativity with the logical world of data and science. My ultimate goal is to contribute to meaningful stories and technologies that inspire others to think critically and dream boldly.
