Periodically, we all face depression in one form or another. However, we don’t have to feel helpless or hopeless as we go through these seasons. God has established principles and strategies to help us to overcome this dark place called depression.
Throughout the Bible you will read of how Godly, influential men battled through these dark places of depression but they all made it through. God desires the same thing for you!
David speaks about his distress in many of his writings
Elijah was depressed, fearful and discouraged
Jonah became angry and suicidal
Job was distressed because of all that he lost
Even Jesus dealt with bitterness and depression
Throughout the pages of this small book:
You will learn to fight better in your distress because you see better
You will take a journey in scripture through the lives of Jonah and Elijah
You will discover how God uses our hurts heal.
You will walk out the steps of a conqueror and move forward
You will find out how to bring emotional balance back to your home.
Whatever storm you face, whatever your distress, God’s Word will help you navigate through these dark places and bring us to a place of overcoming.
