Andi Mills has always believed in chasing her dreams. At the age of twelve, she was inspired to ride a horse across the United States. She discovered that some dreams are harder to catch than others. She chased one dream for forty-four years before she finally got to live it. Andi and her friend, Edie, decided (in their fifties.) that as a team, they could probably do it. They wanted to ride for a good cause and decided on Stroke Awareness and education on the Value of Early Detection of Strokes. It was a cause that was dear to their hearts since both of their younger sisters had suffered strokes. They added two more women to the team as a support crew and headed for the west coast to begin their horseback ride back to South Carolina. The Carolina Trekkers were born and that's where this adventure begins.
