Synopsis:

This book is the most comprehensive, step by step approach to resolution of DID available on the market. It demystifies the whole area and makes it simple for any layman to understand.

Dissociation happens when we are emotionally and/or physically overwhelmed and can no longer remain consciously present. At this point another part of our mind takes over and functions for us. Once the trauma is over, we return to conscious awareness and the part of our mind that functioned for us retreats. We have no memory whatsoever of what happened when the 'part' took over. The part that receded often functions for us in dysfunctional ways. eg. making us fearful, anxious, affecting sexual issues, our biochemistry and inducing psychoses. Hence dissociation is a factor in almost all mental and many physical ailments. Here is the clincher: Everyone has dissociative 'parts' or 'alters' because at some time in our lives we all have been overwhelmed. Dissociation often happens in the womb, during the birth process and particularly in the first three years of life. As we age, these alters develop and can play a significant role in our lives. Complete healing simply cannot be achieved unless these alters are resolved. The exciting news is that this can happen relatively quickly.

Peter and Heather have over 40,000 hours of clinical counselling experience dealing predominantly with dissociative parts. They have streamlined the process of contacting parts, exposing and bringing resolution to the trauma these parts have concealed and then removing all of parts. This is frequently achieved in a few hours of counselling. However, there is a catch.

You have to be a Christian. Dissociation is a field where a secular/atheistic world view is shown to be woefully inadequate in comparison to a Christian approach. Only the Holy Spirit can achieve total resolution. This book is in its 5th edition, expanded and revised to provide the reader with a complete step-by-step approach to using Anazao's method. Peter and Heather travel the world doing demonstrations on the prevalence of dissociation. This book is an absolute must-read for Christian counsellors and anyone desiring deep healing.
