What would your life be like if you achieved something remarkable, beyond what you dreamed possible? Are you struggling to make small changes that would create a huge difference in your world?
The tiny, seemingly insignificant choices we make every day determine our actions and shape our life, yet many people wait for circumstances to dictate their destiny.
After reading this powerful story, you’ll realise you can - at any time – choose to disrupt your own life.
Michael McKeogh’s life took a shocking turn in 2010 when he narrowly survived an accident that left him wheelchair-bound. Everything changed; sporting opportunities, business success, even friendships. But few people factored in Mike’s determination to not only walk but excel in whatever came next.
His journey from trauma patient to international sporting medalist is proof of the potent combination of clear goals, deliberate choices and daily actions.
As well as sharing Mike’s experience as his partner, Neryl East is a Certified Speaking Professional and Amazon best-selling author.

About the Author
Michael McKeogh is an award-winning business owner and entrepreneur. After a diverse career path that included electrician, police officer, tourist coach driver, immigration consultant, garbage collector and telecommunications project manager, Mike started his company, Fibre Optics Design and Construct, on his dining room table. It has since been a pivotal part of some of Australia's biggest infrastructure projects and achieved national acclaim in the electrical and communications industry. In 2010, Mike suffered critical leg and spinal injuries in a motorbike accident and was faced with the prospect of never walking properly again. Defying medical opinions, Mike not only recovered but set his sights on competing for Australia in his newly-adopted sport, surf ski paddling. He exceeded all expectations by winning bronze for Australia at the 2017 World Ocean Racing Championships in Hong Kong.
