“We’re not lazy — we’re exhausted by a broken system.”
Dismantling the Appendix III: The Practical Guide to UBI brings Taiwan’s vision of Universal Basic Income out of theory and into actionable policy. Continuing the bold clarity of volumes I and II, author Ping Xu lays out a detailed blueprint: tax strategies, implementation stages, payment systems, cross-sector integration, pilot programs, and democratic redesign.
Inside, you’ll discover:
-
Why VAT is a fairer and more transparent funding base than income tax
-
How to expand from PBI to full UBI in three strategic phases
-
How UBI can interlink with healthcare, long-term care, and suicide prevention
-
How Taiwan can pioneer a new model of social resilience and governance
This book is more than policy — it’s a call to action for anyone who believes people deserve security before they break, and dignity without conditions.
