About the Author

Geboren am 31. Marz 1596 in La Haye/Touraine; gestorben am 11. Februar 1650 in Stockholm. Rene Descartes wurde in der Jesuitenschule La Fleche erzogen. Ab 1618 war er in Kriegsdiensten.
