Paperback. Different by Frank Mundo takes on topics like bullying, school violence and safe spaces by re-imaging Kafka's "Metamorphosis" and Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" in this illustrated contemporary fantasy for adults. If you liked, "Miss Peregine's Home for Peculiar Children," you'll love Different by Frank Mundo. In Different, young Gregory Gourde wakes up in his bed one morning with an impossible new feature: his head has become a watermelon. We follow Gregory down a rabbit hole of sorts to a new, alternative world and an audacious exploration of what it really means to be different in this dark yet humorous journey of self-discovery. The book includes a dozen original illustrations by Keith Draws in a "woodcut style" based on the classic, "Alice in Wonderland." *Adult language and content. Not for young children. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
