From the Author
So, you're ready to lose weight, and improve your health - congratulations! Today, you may be fed up (literally) with your weight and health habits, but before you know it, you'll remember this day as one of the most positive and important days of your life.
I have joked that the ultimate weight control book only needs to contain four words - EAT LESS MOVE MORE. However, we all know this. In order to lose weight, you must consume less calories than you use. Yet, in our complicated society with an abundance of food, weight control is just not that simple.
The Don't Diet - Live It! Plan uses your innate human ability to form habits, and centers on refocusing your lifestyle. This is not a diet. There are no restrictive menus, no pills, no gimmicks. This is a sensible, flexible, achievable, and safe way to gain control of your lifestyle. This is a change in attitude. Take a good look in the mirror. Who you see is responsible for your eating habits now and, more impo! ! rtantly, who you see is the only person who can change those habits. That person is fully deserving of a more healthy, great looking body. This is the only body that you have. And it’s a great one. Treat it like gold.
Take it slow, but sure, and before you know it, you'll reach your goal. Don't Diet - Live It! will guide you every step of the way.
- Mary Guay
