A Dictionary of Roman Coins, Republican and Imperial by Seth William Stevenson (commenced), revised by C. Roach Smith and completed by Frederic W. Madden, is a 1964 hardcover reprint of the 1889 original, published by B. A. Seaby Ltd. (Seaby's Numismatic Publications), London. It runs 929 pages, is illustrated with upwards of 700 wood engravings (mostly by the late F. W. Fairholt), and is a standard reference for Roman coin types, legends, and attributes. NOTE: The 1964 Seaby edition is out of print and only available used such as this copy, which is in very good condition. The Dust Jacket is also in good condition, with just a small amount of wear at the top. The actual book itself is in excellent condition, although there is a little bit of staining on the fore edge - see photos.
