Two volume set housed in slipcase. 41.5 x 26.5 cm. Limited to 1000 sets of which this is set 251. Facsimile of the 1755 first edition, printed at St Edmundsbury Press on Favini Toned paper and bound by Smith Settle of Otley in 3/4 dappled calfskin with covers and edges marbled by Ann Muir. "Care sheet" as well as a 12 pp pamphlet by John Mullan describing the work laid-in. There is what looks like staining/darkening to the leather spines but I believe this is as issued for this natural leather rather than as damage that happened post production. There is no discoloration to the leather spine labels or front or back covers. Massive work, orders outside the US will require substantial additional charges.
