The Diary of Vaslav Nijinsky. This item is unavailable. The Diary of Vaslav Nijinsky

Nijinsky is one of the greatest names in the history of ballet. His breathtaking performances between 1909 and 1913 took western Europe by storm. These unexpurgated diaries provide an enthralling and poignant first-hand account of Nijinsky's rapid decline from being the most famous dancer of the western world into psychosis. They tragically reveal his descent into madness, and contain his last lucid thoughts - on God, sex, war, the nature of the universe and his own broken life. Horrifying and compelling, they give a rare insight into the mind of one of the world's greatest artists.
