Volumes 1 and 2 are Collins' First Editions, and volume 3 is a 'Book of the Month Club' edition, published to match in yellow cloth, and printed by Collins (this third volume bears a signature of G. Nicolson, 1906 - ). All three volumes are in Very Good condition. Dustjacket to volume 1 is in Acceptable condition with some tape repairs, volume 2 dj. is Very Good and volume 3 dj. is Good to Very Good. Please note we will not split this set. First editions (except for the first volume, which is a third impression). Hardcovers. A couple signatures/short inscriptions on the free endpapers, a little mild foxing on a couple edges, otherwise very good in like dustjackets (one is price-clipped). Edited by Nigel Nicolson. Illustrated with b/w photos. The short inscriptions make note that this set was passed on to Rollo Kingsford-Smith (a much decorated bomber pilot in WWII, and the nephew of aviator Charles Kingsford-Smith).
