About the Author: Jayne Fincher's award-winning photographs have appeared in major newspapers and magazines around the world including Newsweek, People, Paris Match, Stern, and Life. In 1988, to celebrate his 40th birthday, Prince Charles asked Fincher to take the official family portrait of the Prince and Princess of Wales relaxing at Highgrove with their young princes. Fincher covered the funeral of Princess Diana, her most difficult assignment, about which she was interviewed on The Today Show. She is coauthor, with her father, Terry Fincher, of The Princess of Wales (1989), photographer of My Young Friends (1989), and author of Travels with a Princess (1990), which includes her photographs of Princess Diana and other members of the royal family.
