Print on Demand. This book explores how religious dogma and societal expectations forced the author into a life of moral relativism and intellectual skepticism. Raised without religious teachings, the author was briefly swayed by the political philosophies of his time. Yet, these movements quickly showed their flaws, leading him into a downward spiral of depravity and despair that included atheism, materialism, and hedonism. But one evening, while speaking at a socialist gathering in a small cafà , his faithlessness was suddenly and dramatically challenged. Challenged by his audience to explain where humanity came from, the author realized he could not answer the question. As he walked home through the woods that night, he was overcome with a profound sense of emptiness and remorse. This was the first step on a long and difficult journey that eventually led him back to the Catholic Church. The author's candid account of his struggles with faith and morality offers profound reflections on the human search for meaning in an often uncaring universe. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
