Evil wears many skins.
Deep within the Canadian wilderness, people have been disappearing for over a century. Near an isolated lumber town and an abandoned Cree village, there is a place the locals call “the Devil’s Woods.” The lumberjacks and deer hunters won’t dare cross its borders. The hidden forest is so evil that even animals avoid it.
When their father’s archaeology expedition team vanishes, Kyle Elkheart, his brother, Eric, and sister, Shawna, return to the Cree First Nation reserve where they were born. Kyle has the special ability to see ghosts that haunt the woods surrounding the village—and the restless spirits seem to be urging him to unravel a century-old mystery.
But a sinister group will do anything to protect the forest’s dark secrets. As danger closes in on the Elkheart family, the search for their missing father will lead Kyle and his siblings to discover what horrors lurk in the nightmare forest.
