That is a sobering truth. It never crosses most people’s minds. We prefer to imagine evil as random, temptation as occasional, and the devil as a superstition from the past or a cartoonish figure.
But evil is not random.
The most powerful evil being in existence has a plan for your life. He has a single, clear goal. All his schemes and strategies, temptations, machinations, deceptions, and subtle ploys are ordered toward this one singular devastating goal.
The devil’s single goal is to ruin your soul.
He has never wavered from this purpose. He is hellbent on your destruction. Which brings us to a simple but confronting question: Do you have a plan?
The tragedy is not that the devil has a plan. The tragedy is that most Christians don’t. We have lost touch with our goal. We have vague hopes but no defined vision. We ignore holiness or dismiss it as impossible. We want Heaven, but we have no plan for becoming the kind of people who belong there. It’s no wonder the devil’s plan is wreaking havoc in our lives.
It’s time for that to change.
In The Devil’s Plan for Your Life, bestselling author Matthew Kelly and Dynamic Catholic content team leader Stephen Anderson combine wit, wisdom, and spiritual insight to expose ten of the devil’s most common strategies and show you how to resist them. Blending timeless truths with practical guidance, Kelly and Anderson offer a compelling roadmap for recognizing the spiritual battle unfolding in everyday life.
The ten diabolical strategies in this book were selected precisely because of how widespread and devastating they are today. You may be surprised by how many of these strategies are already at play in your life.
With warmth, clarity, humor, and honesty, Kelly and Anderson reveal how the devil works—and why his strategies are so effective in modern life. Along the way, you will uncover something even more important: The devil’s plan is simply the opposite of God’s simple and beautiful plan for your life.
The devil wants to distract you from your purpose because your purpose is magnificent. He wants to pull you away from holiness because holiness is the goal. He wants you to forget Heaven because Heaven is your destiny.
But that does not have to be your story. Grace is available. Victory is possible. This is how Christianity changed the world. Individual men and women were transformed by a powerful encounter with Jesus Christ, and, in turn, they transformed the world. The devil hates this fact.
The devil has a plan for your life. You can choose God’s plan instead.

About the Author
He has dedicated his life to helping people and organizations become the-best-version-of-themselves.
