Illustrated with twelve woodcut illustrations and triangular devices, eleven of which are by Eric Gill. 8vo. pp [viii], 123, [5]; variation binding of grey wrappers printed in red (usually the book is bound in red boards printed in black) with an engraving by Gill, short split at bottom of the top joint of front wrapper at the spine, some mild creasing to leading edge. Top edges of some of the leaves uncut. Contents fresh and bright. A near fine copy. Printed at the workshop of the Hampshire House, in Hampshire Hog Lane, Hammersmith, west London This was the first book published by Pepler, although not printed by him. He later moved to Ditchling, and a Saint Dominic's Press book in all but name. Illustrated with twelve woodcut illustrations and triangular devices, eleven of which are by Eric Gill. 8vo.
