"Development of the Nine-banded Armadillo From the Primitive Streak Stage to Birth" offers a detailed examination of the embryological development of the nine-banded armadillo, with particular attention to the phenomenon of specific polyembryony. Authored by John Thomas Patterson and Horatio Hackett Newman, this work delves into the intricate processes from the primitive streak stage through to birth, providing valuable insights into the developmental biology of this unique mammal.
This study is an essential resource for researchers and students in zoology, developmental biology, and related fields, providing a comprehensive look at the armadillo's embryological journey and contributing to a deeper understanding of vertebrate development and polyembryony.
