HOW YOUNG PEOPLE (AND OLDER ONES) CAN USE EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE TO BALANCE THEIR LIVES
Teens and young adults often complain, “My parents don’t understand me”, “I don’t know why my friends behave that way”, “I wish I could get along better with my classmates”, “I wish I understood them”. They may also question themselves from time to time, “Why do I feel so overwhelmed?”, “Why do I get so angry?”, or “Why do I feel trapped?” These are some of the statements and questions that people make and ask, especially teens and young adults.DEVELOPING EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE - 30 Ways for Older Teens and Young Adults to Develop Their Caring Capabilities discusses emotional Intelligence and shows young people some of the situations that lead to these feelings, and examines ways of overcoming these feelings.
