GitHub Actions has evolved far beyond a simple task runner—it is the automation engine that powers the modern cloud. When combined with tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes, it transforms how organizations build, secure, and ship software. It allows you to codify your entire infrastructure, enforce strict enterprise governance, and orchestrate complex deployments without ever leaving your repository.
DevOps with GitHub Actions is your definitive blueprint for building resilient, automated, and highly secure delivery pipelines. This book takes you far beyond basic tutorials, diving deep into production-grade orchestration, multi-environment deployments, infrastructure as code, and autonomous failure recovery. It is your guide to mastering the ultimate CI/CD platform.
What's insideThis book is packed with battle-tested architectures and practical code. You will learn:
- Progressive Delivery: Master zero-downtime releases using Blue-Green and Canary deployment strategies.
- Infrastructure as Code: Automate your cloud networks and firewalls using Terraform and GitHub Actions.
- Custom Tooling: Build and publish your own enterprise-grade JavaScript and Docker Actions.
- Automated Resilience: Engineer smart pipelines that automatically rollback unstable releases and trigger PagerDuty alerts.
- Deep Observability: Integrate OpenTelemetry and centralized logging to visualize your pipeline bottlenecks.
- Enterprise Compliance: Enforce strict SOC 2 compliance, audit trails, and repository governance autonomously.
This book is built for Software Engineers, DevOps Practitioners, and Platform Architects who are ready to scale their systems professionally. If you are tired of putting out operational fires and want to transition into engineering reliable, high-velocity delivery engines, this guide is written exactly for you.
The era of manual deployments and messy bash scripts is over. While others are still manually configuring servers and battling configuration drift, you could be shipping features at lightning speed with absolute confidence.
Are you ready to stop managing infrastructure and start automating it? Grab your copy today, turn the page, and let's start building pipelines that never break.
