Paperback. Caution. Detour Ahead. This collection of 15 short stories emphasizes how a person can get side-tracked along life's journey. Some detours can take us on a road to success, while others led to a dangerous path. This book consists of a variety of sketches ranging from a woman in a chaotic relationship faced with a homicide charge to a minister who has lost his faith. The reader will also find a man who believes he's "not like other men" but carries a horrific secret. Other characters include a lady who dislikes dogs but learns the value of a pet support as well as a budding romance; a truck driver who avoided an incident that changed his life for the good; a mental health worker who is caught between her duties and helping to free a man who viciously murdered two women; a lady who has a book addiction; and a man who believes he is a famous author--delusion or not? The author provides the reader with a diverse collection emphasizing the outcomes resulting from the many detours open to us as we move through life, with a strong reminder of caution. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
