Despair Ye not of Allah's Mercy By Hamid Ibrahim Ahmad and Muhammad Hussain Al-Aqbi Translator : Z. Baintner Hardback 320 Pages ISBN : 9782745161512 Publisher : Dar al Kotob al Ilmiyah (DKI) About The Book The Qur'an says explicitly that man must not despair of Allah's mercy. This book is a commentary on this Qur'anic message and includes Qur'anic verses, Hadith Qudsi and a large number of Prophet (pbuh) sayings on this subject. Allah's Mercy looks for excuses to forgive man. Much respite is given to him and he is warned very often to mend his ways and set himself on the right path. Small deeds and words and prayers can get pardon for a habitual sinner. In fact, a killer of ninety-nine men gained forgiveness on a very slight pretext. However, there are a couple a sins that are not forgiven to man who has to show that he wants to be forgiven. He should repent and resolve not to commit sin again and he should make amends by trying to please Allah.
