nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Desire, by Alan WildNot only does this book test the boundaries of traditional eroticism but it demystifies and challenges the notion of homosexual sensuality by bringing it out from the territory of the taboo. A portfolio of intimate and stirring images, Desire is a book of male nudes of varying body types and ethnicities that illustrate the many faces of male strength and sexuality. The images, often detailed with latest digital imaging effects, play with the viewer's perceptions, and showcase the body in a variety of unusual angles that lend a dreamlike and even surreal feel to the work. It's Wildeman's unique point of view and exceptional use of technology that help to remove us from the subject matter just long enough to appreciate the photographs' various forms and compositions that would otherwise be lost in the overt sexual imagery of the work. Ken Zachmann.
