About the Author: Derek Clements-Croome began his career in industry before entering academic life. He has carried out research and teaching in departments covering architecture, engineering, human sciences and management. Presently he is Professor Emeritus at the University of Reading and a Visiting Professor at Queen Mary University London, besides collaborating closely with the British Council for Offices.
