This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -This book helps you to understand the basic concept of power system stabilizer and its design in a wide-area control power system. Wide Area Monitoring System (WAMS) serves as a platform by integrating the communication network with power system networks to transmit these remote signals. Along with its advantages communication networks within WAMS adds some unavoidable constraints like delay and packet losses to the transmitted data which may affect the stabilizer performance negatively. To enhance the system capability considering those losses, an attempt has been made to solve those problems via controlling strategies. 52 pp. Englisch.
