Add to basketFocusing on basic theory, emerged technologies and underlying engineering solutions, we investigate frontiers of engineering and science in design and control of physical and cyber-physical systems (CPS). Advanced-technology multi-physics systems are designed by seamlessly integrating components and modules, guaranteeing overall specifications and functionality by means of data processing, management and control. Analog and digital controllers and data management are implemented by analog and mixed-signal ASICs, as well as by microcontrollers and field-programmable gate arrays. Cybersecurity and information security have become critical.
This book focuses on engineering solutions and covers frontiers of engineering and science. Basic theory, emerged technologies, advanced software, enabling hardware and computing environments are applied. Recent innovations and discoveries are reported. We demonstrate and apply underlying fundamentals in design of complex systems.
This book aims to:
The emerged technologies and hardware have advanced system organization and enabled capabilities. The recent developments are empowered by new solutions. The major objective of this book is to empower concurrent design, as well as to enable a deep understanding of engineering underpinnings and integrated technologies. Key concepts and paradigms are covered.
Dr. Lyshevski received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Kiev Polytechnic Institute in 1980 and 1987. From 1980 to 1992 Dr. Lyshevski held research and faculty positions at the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Technical University of Ukraine (Kiev Polytechnic Institute) and the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1989 to 1992 he was the Microelectronic and Electromechanical Systems Division Head at the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. From 1993 to 2002 Dr. Lyshevski was an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Purdue School of Engineering, Indianapolis. In 2002 he joined Rochester Institute of Technology as a professor of Electrical Engineering. Dr. Lyshevski served as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the US Department of State, Fulbright program. Dr. Lyshevski is a Full Professor Faculty Fellow at the Air Force Research Laboratories, US Naval Surface Warfare Center, and, US Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
