Slight edgewear to covers. Otherwise, apart from a couple of pages with slight creasing, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy and family history. ~SP13~ [2.0P] The fourth of seven volumes documenting the descendants of the seven children of John Christopher Miller (1759-1822) and his wife Hanna Franciska Stratman (1765-1818), married in 1788, who immigrated to the United States in 1805 and settled in Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They migrated to Madison Township, Fairfield County, Ohio, in 1815. Descendants lived in Ohio, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, and elsewhere. This fourth volume focuses on the descendants of John Martin Miller (1797-1877), who came to America from Hofgeismar, Germany with her family in 1805, when he was eight years old, settling in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. In the fall of 1815, they moved to Madison Township in Fairfield County, Ohio. In March 1822, John married Anna Catharine Baker (1804-1884) and had 17 children together.
