- Book 2 of 2: Dental Practice Performance Library
Every successful dental practice depends on a revenue cycle that is accurate, controlled, transparent, and professionally managed. When eligibility, documentation, claims, denials, patient balances, and accounts receivable operate as one coordinated system, the practice gains stronger cash flow, clearer team accountability, and a more confident patient financial experience.
Dental Insurance, Billing, & Collections Handbook is a premium operational guide for dental owners, office managers, financial coordinators, billing professionals, and administrative teams who want greater control over the financial systems that support patient care.
Part of the Dental Practice Performance Library, this full-color handbook guides the reader through the complete dental revenue cycle—from benefit verification and treatment documentation to claim submission, payment posting, denial resolution, patient collections, and accounts receivable control. Each topic is presented with the clinical awareness, financial discipline, and compliance-conscious judgment required in a modern dental practice.
Inside, you will learn how to:
- Build reliable insurance workflows for eligibility, coordination of benefits, predeterminations, claim preparation, attachments, and follow-up
- Strengthen documentation and revenue integrity while reducing preventable delays, rework, missed balances, and inconsistent posting
- Manage denials, aging accounts, and patient balances through organized escalation pathways and professional communication
- Create measurable departmental control using policies, scripts, checklists, scorecards, audit tools, and implementation frameworks
The book connects every stage of the revenue cycle so readers can understand not only what each task requires, but also how errors move through the system and affect reimbursement, patient trust, team workload, and practice performance.
Practical diagrams, structured workflows, decision tools, and professionally designed appendices make the handbook suitable for daily reference, team training, system redesign, and managerial oversight. Readers will gain a clearer method for assigning responsibilities, identifying breakdowns, standardizing financial procedures, and measuring whether the department is operating effectively.
The result is a more disciplined financial operation: cleaner claims, stronger follow-up, clearer patient communication, more dependable collections, and greater confidence in the revenue supporting the practice.
For dental teams ready to replace fragmented financial tasks with a coordinated and accountable system, Dental Insurance, Billing, & Collections Handbook provides the structure, guidance, and practical tools to move forward with precision.
