This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Dental caries is a public health problem in light of its boundless trademark, cost of treatment and impacts on patient`s quality of life. These point to a dire requirement for powerful caries control.Numerous epidemiological information have uncovered an enraptured dissemination, in which high disease levels are prevailing in a minority of individuals, the so-called high caries risk individuals. To alter this polarization, individuals of high risk of developing dental caries need to be identified and targeted for specific individual or group based preventive measures. The early identification of these subjects allows health authorities to plan specific measures for caries prevention and to increase the efficiency of preventive programs. 128 pp. Englisch.
