Paperback. Three Brands. One Avenue. No Rules. There was a time in New York City when Seventh Avenue pulsed with creativity, ambition, and beautiful disorder. It is a world that now lives only in memory, but one that once shaped an entire generation. In that fleeting moment, denim rose from humble workwear to the defining symbol of American rebellion, and the fashion industry reinvented itself at breakneck speed.Denim Wars plunges readers into the fierce battles of the late 1970s and early 1980s, when three powerhouse brands collided in a high-stakes fight for dominance and for the right to define what "cool" meant to the world. Showroom rivalries, glossy ad campaigns, young models on the edge of fame, and nights at Studio 54 blurred together in a culture where style was currency, ambition was relentless, and risk was the only rule.At the center of it all is Julie Glass, a young woman balancing ambition and heartbreak. As the industry transforms around her, Julie must confront the dreams she is chasing, the losses she carries, and the quiet internal struggles that shape who we become when everything is on the line. For those who lived it and those who can only imagine it, Denim Wars captures what it meant to dream in blue, or bleed in blue, depending on how you landed. It is a story about giving everything you have against impossible odds and discovering that the fiercest wars are often the ones we wage within ourselves. This item is printed on demand.
