An extremely well-written method for 20-key, German-style concertina. One of the best books of its kind available. Written in the key of C. The Concertina was invented in England by Sir Charles Wheatstone in the year 1827. For many years, it has been played "by ear" to provide music for simple affairs such as picnics, parties, and square dancing. The instrument’s value and importance were not fully developed until recently. All instruction books thus far available have been of the most elementary type. The author's aim and expectation are that the course will make a significant breakthrough for the Concertina in the world of music. This book was designed especially for you, the beginner, whether the novice or the advanced player. It will provide hours of pleasure and, at the same time, advancement to the classics.
