Paperback. The Lothar Legacies - Book 4She's spent her life fighting to prove she isn't the fragile one.Delilah Lothar isn't a princess. She's a fighter.A rider.A blade at her hip and mud on her boots. While her sisters became queens and legends, Delilah trained with soldiers and swore she would never wait behind castle walls for someone to save her.Especially not Lazar.Commander of the Fae army. Her sister's closest ally. The infuriating, brooding warrior who has always treated her like a child. and then disappeared for years without looking back.So when he returns colder, harder, and more dangerous than ever, she tells herself she doesn't care.Until everything goes wrong. One mission. One mistake. And Delilah vanishes beyond the Veil into a realm where ancient laws rule and mercy doesn't exist. The kind of place people don't come back from. The kind of place where she becomes something far more valuable than she ever wanted to be.And the only man reckless enough to come after her?Lazar. The last person she wants. The only one she trusts. The one warrior who would burn entire kingdoms to bring her home. But rescue has consequences. And some bargains can't be undone. Now they're bound together by forces older than magic itself-trapped between fury, longing, and a bond neither of them asked for. They tell themselves it means nothing. They tell themselves it's duty. They tell themselves they can walk away. They're both lying.Because every fight ends too close.Every touch burns. And every threat makes Lazar turn feral.Delilah never needed saving. But she might need him.If they don't kill each other first. The final standalone novel in The Lothar Legacies, a romantic fantasy spinoff of The Responsible King (Faction Kings Series).
