Paperback. "The Family: A Proclamation to the World" was issued in 1995 by prophets and apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It set forth eternal truths about family, marriage, gender, sexuality, and the sanctity of life. Today, these truths are under attack. This book provides comprehensive research and tools to empower you as you defend your family and God's truths in a world that seeks to destroy them both. In this book, we will shine a light on the evils attacking your family and arm you with the truth about how these ideologies are distorting God's truth about marriage, gender, sexuality, identity, and the sanctity of life. Because some sensitive information is included, this book is primarily recommended for adults (and not young children). When reading this book, you will have a better understanding of the following: -What is attacking the institutions of marriage and family?-How are secularism, feminism, radicalized Christian nationalism, and LGBTQ+ ideologies threatening your family and truth today?-Why is pornography dangerous and how is it being promoted in our culture?-How have the truths of the family proclamation been replaced by worldly ideologies within many of our wards and stakes?
